SnapTally is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app operates entirely on your device without requiring an internet connection, user accounts, or cloud services.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

SnapTally does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No third-party analytics services
• No cloud storage or synchronization

Data Storage

All data you create in SnapTally—including receipt photos, extracted text, categories, and notes—is stored locally on your device using iOS's built-in data storage. This data:

• Never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it
• Is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• Is included in your iCloud or iTunes backups if you have those enabled on your device
• Is deleted when you uninstall the app

Camera and Photo Library

SnapTally requests access to your camera to photograph receipts. Photos are processed entirely on-device using iOS's built-in text recognition. No images are transmitted to external servers.

Export Feature

When you use the export feature, you control where the data goes. SnapTally uses iOS's standard share sheet, allowing you to save to Files, email to yourself, AirDrop, or use any other sharing method you choose. We have no access to exported data.

Children's Privacy

SnapTally does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the App Store update notes.
